Course information:

What is paint pouring?

Acrylic pouring is a painting technique where acrylic paint is mixed with a pouring medium and then poured onto a surface in a variety of ways. The surface is tilted in each direction to let the paint flow and the way the colours interact is unpredictable, yet always interesting.

What will I learn?

You will be learning how to prepare the perfect mix for all your paint pouring projects.
In this course, you will be shown 3 techniques:
  • Swipe
  • Swirl
  • Drag

If there is a particular technique that you are interested in not listed above, please feel free to ask us on the day.

You will be able to create your projects in the colours you like. We have a large choice of colours to choose from.

You will be making 2canvas: 20x20cm each

What if I struggle during the course?

All our courses are fun and informal. Our groups are kept small, this also allows me to be able to help you should need a little encouragement. There is always enough time to ask for help and if one way doesn't work for you, I always have another way to show you.

What should I wear?

Please make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. For practical reasons, we will be providing you with an apron, but paint can still splash your garments, please make sure that you are not wearing your best clothes!

Can I take my work home?

Yes, you can. Before the end of the course, we will try to dry your work as much as possible. Your masterpieces will not be completely dry,
you will have to be careful, I will be supplying you with takeaway boxes for you to be able to carry your work home.
Please make sure that your car boot is empty for you to be able to lay your work flat.
